  • What users have to say about Brita 18 Cup UltraMax Water Dispenser with 1 Filter

I'm leaving this review a 5 star rating because the repair was very easy and I can hold a decent amount of water for 2 to 3 people.

I bought this for my new apartment because I wanted a larger one, and didn't want to keep it in my fridge.

The Brita countertop filter/dispenser has a number of improvements, including a narrower tank, a harder lever, and a larger lid.

The best news is that the filter removed the weird taste from my tap water and it's even better than bottled water.

The Brita filter has made my cat love it! I had some old filters in my sealed pouch from when I had my old 10-cup Brita pitcher.

    FAQ

    Q:

Why do the black and grey look different in design and shape?

    A:

The grey system is our new model, and it holds 18 cups of water.

    Q:

Is it possible to filter my wine in this?

    A:

If you want to change the flavor, you have to.

    Q:

Is it possible to use the standard brita filter with this one?

    A:

Yes, our Brita filters are designed to fit all Brita pitchers and dispensers, new and old, other than the Brita Stream.

    Q:

Will it fit a cabinet depth refrigerator?

    A:

I'm not sure what depth this would be, but this dispenser slides nicely into the second shelf of my refrigerator, which is not the biggest frig possible.

    Q:

I don't know if the dispensers should be empty when I'm done filling or if they'll be filled again.

    A:

If the duspenser is almost empty, you should fill the reservoir at the top and 1/2 at a time to make sure you don't overflow the dispenser.
