It can take a lot of weight and is shallow enough that I can hang it on the back of a door and keep it open.
I need to put this behind my walk-in closet door because there isn't enough room in my closet and room that I share with my boyfriend at our apartment.
He can keep it on the door until I leave, and it held 2 winter coats, 2 full purses, and other clothing.
I haven't used the rack yet because I haven't moved in, but I like the way the hooks are offset and the construction is very sturdy.
I have a heavy winter coat on there, along with some scarves and a couple of purses, it is very sturdy, and I can get anything I want on there.

The description states a width of 20", but the product information says 17.1". I have double 18" wide doors so I'm not sure what the real width is.
I measured it and it's exactly 17" wide at the widest point.
Are the hooks too big to fit through the holes that are at the top of most broom handles, or can you hang brooms from the top row of hooks?
If you want to hang blooms or mops, you could put a loop rope through the bloom handle hole instead of hanging it on the hook.
Is it possible to put something on every hook?
I have something on every hook and it's very sturdy, I'm going to purchase another one.
