It is soft, good quality and easy to use, it is a great way to get a little one used to having his teeth brushed until he is old enough to cooperate.
If your baby or grand baby will tolerate it being shoved into their mouth, I think it's a good idea. It's soft enough, I think, and has a little brush one side and some massaging nubs on the other.
Sometimes it takes a little while before the baby calms down, but I always massage the baby's gums with cold water and gentle pressure.
This is great for cleaning teeth and gums, but it has a nice bumpy side that is soothing for a teething baby, if you're willing to let your finger be bitten on a little bit.
I use it to clean food particles from a partial denture, which is a very mundane task, but it works well, you just have to find a private place to do it for a few seconds.
