I would have for a 44", though the wheels would be further apart, so I can see what it feels like if I move the rear truck back a few inches, to put it in perspective.
I think they are a little miss shaped, but they work great on the original deck, and I wouldn't hesitate to replace them if I needed them.
The deck is relatively stiff, but it does give it a 2 out of 10 flexibility, and it has a very slight camber, which means the center of the board curves up a bit in relation to the nose and tail.
The quality is great, and the board is easy to handle, so it's a good choice for beginners.
I would replace the bearings asap but not for long because I would use a pair of "bear space balls" or "bone reds" longer distance and better bearing so they will last you longer.

Since there is 45 pounds difference, I can't say definitively but I can say this is a strong board and I would think you would have no problems.

The board is sturdy and won't get dinged up from regular use, even though it'll be very large.
