    If you have lights in a room that are both warm and cool, you will see a difference in the lamp, even though your eyes adjust to most color temperatures within seconds of entering a room.


    The light is not harsh, and at an equivalent to 40 watts, it is not overly bright, so so so far, I have found them to be working as well as, if not more so.


    These are some of the best bulbs I have ever used, they are clearly high quality, stable with no flicker, and even though they are marked as not for use with dimmers, they are still stable, because I have them on a circuit with dimmers at full power.


    There are still people who haven't seen an electric light, even though they've been watching an episode of "Breakthrough" on the National Geographic channel.


    Thankfully LED bulb prices have dropped considerably since then making the initial investment a whole lot more palatable for more people.
