I put the bulb in the fixture and am very pleased with how it works. I received an email from Hudson inquiring about the condition of the bulbs on delivery, if all was well, and promising.
A soft amber glow to our kitchen is provided by a great light bulb. We used these bulbs in a vintage type globe fixture and have gotten a lot of compliment on how neat they look, especially when on a dimmer and you can see the filaments inside of the bulb.
We used these bulbs in a vintage type, 3 globe fixture and have gotten a lot of compliment on how neat they look, especially when on a dimmer, and you can see the filaments inside of the bulb.

I was a little hesitant about the size and color of the bulbs, but I am very pleased with them. The bulbs look great in the fixture and I am so pleased with both the fixture and the choice of bulbs.
Question & Answers
I can't find any of these styles that light up white.
It's difficult to find cooler color temperatures with filament style bulbs, so these have a warm orange look.
Are they led lights?
These bulbs are not LEDs, let us know if you have any other questions.
Would these fit the requirement of being a bulb similar to what could have been used in the 1930's and 1940's?
I got these bulbs because I love the design and they work well with the stand I got here on Amazon.
Are they rated for fully enclosed fixture?
It's possible to use these in fully enclosed fixture, but you run the risk of a shorter bulb life because you're trapping the heat of the bulb and not allowing it to properly breathe.
What were you thinking about putting a make up area in the bathroom?
I have a recess bright light that works better for me, it depends on the bathroom size.
