It is slower to start making ice than the Opal, but once it gets going, it keeps the bucket full for me.
I noticed that the ice started dropping in about 7-8 minutes, starting small but eventually dropping full pellets around 12-13 minutes.
Once full, it stops until enough ice melts and basically recycles the water as the ice melts.
It takes around 10 to 15 minutes to produce a basket filled with nugget ice.

I really love the size of nuggets this ice maker makes, solid ones, and it makes them pretty fast too. It also holds a bit more ice than my other ice maker and I drink 5-7 glasses of ice water a day and it keeps right up with me and always has ice left in the bucket too.
On Sundays, I make a giant container of ice.
After 10 to 15 minutes, I can see a basket filled with nugget ice.
The ice maker makes a good amount of ice and holds about 1/3 gallon.
