It went through both materials using a spray bottle and I did not have to clear the material out of the bit.
It works great for cutting glass, pro tips use a slow flow of water, use a drill press with a jig to hold the bottles in place, and two hands to keep the drill bit out of the way.
The counter top was 3 cm thick and the stone broke when I was through it.
I am not a pro when it comes to making things like this, but my daughter needed help turning a wine bottle into a lamp, and I purchased some diamond hole drills to help her do it.
I am very happy with the lamp I purchased. Make sure you use water when drilling.
Question & Answers
Is the piece of glass that comes out round and intact if it's used on glass, like 3mm thick?
I used the bits I pre made in a piece of wood to hold the bit in place as I drilled.
Is it possible to use these on a glass block?
I have used them on glass insulators and they work well.
I want to use the bits for drilling holes in fido jar lids, what is the grit for them?
It's pretty rough and leaves a not very smooth edge, but some sandpaper can fix that.
I need to know which one is the right size to use to make a small hole on a glass bead for jewelry making.
Don't know what size bead you need, but suspect you need a drill bit that is 1/32" or 3/64".
Will they be able to drill tempered glass cookware?
No, glass can't be drill able.
