The product comes with all the necessary screws and anchors for attachment directly to a wall, stud, or in my case a 2X4X8 that I attached directly to the wall, all of which I used for the purpose of organizing my garden tools that are stored in my garage.
I used all of them and I recommend you to use a level to make sure the hook is straight.
