There are tiny particles of glitter in the dried paint, which is unlike eggshell or satin, but you can't see them in the paint until you brush it on fabric.

I used the fabric paint to make some work shirts for a cosplay and I was very happy with the results.

It dried to our hands quickly and we had to scrub to get it off, so hopefully it will last on the tree skirt.

I used this to make handprints on a t-shirt as a Father's Day present from my 6 month old, and it has held up to an initial wash after 72 hours.

I thought that the paint was fake, because it said on the tube that it was matte.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

I want to stamp deep blue onto a light, off-white colored fabric, but will the dark paint bleed onto the light colored fabric?

    A:

I did not use these, but I can tell you that my daughter made t-shirts, and there was absolutely no bleeding of colors at all, and the washed very well, however they do make the fabric a little stiff after being washed.

    Q:

How do I use the tulip soft fabric paints?

    A:

They can be used to stamp baby footprints and handprints on canvas aprons for Mother's Day.

    Q:

Is the paints a good consistency for silk screening?

    A:

I use oil based inks. They are easy to deal with and the results are great.

    Q:

Is it possible to use these on faux leather purses?

    A:

Don't even think about it, these inks are all water based and will only run off the material or ruin what you have invested.

    Q:

Would this work for the purpose of painting a black nylon suit?

    A:

I think this paint is a little too thin and it depends on how much of it you need, because you may need to do a couple of coats.
