If you want something more permanent, you need to save money and get a professional. They seem a bit big at first, but you get used to it.
This is a great product to use if you want to improve your smile, or if you just want to make sure that you don't have any gaps or ridges in your teeth.
I did not notice that these are not recommended for rabbinical practice, but I think they would work just fine for people who do not have this problem, and only for occasions such as job interviews.
It is easy to put the pink plastic in place if you have a mirror handy and some small Pyrex rammicans. Hold it in place for about five minutes and press on your face a lot.
