Is it for needlepoint or cross stitch?
It's needle point!
The instructions don't say what stitch you should use for the yellow flowers, but it is possible to use it on the Red Flower pattern.
I don't remember the name of the stitch but it's similar to a satin stitch.
What is the size of this?
The jar is 4 1/2 inches from the top of the pink flower to the bottom and 3 1/2 inches across from the tip of the pinch flower to the tip of the blue green leaf.
This is labeled for beginners but doesn't have a very important step- how do you tie off the string in the back?
