I knocked off one star because I was able to get my sewing machine projects done more quickly than I had been using before, because of the small heads on my fingers.

I am happy that the dimensions of these are the same as they were when I first started using them, so if you can deal with a little bit of fabric slippage, they will work just fine.

If you work with silk and satin, you already know that even a lightly padded square hoop is needed to use the borders on the fabric.

The purchase was good value, several sizes, and allowed you to pick the right size for your project.

It's the best thing since sliced bread.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Are they strong enough to hold a needle point canvas?

    A:

I don't think they'd be appropriate for needle point canvas, the hoop is weak and warps the canvas.
