    This brush is the best for my dog and it works great to remove all the loose fur during the shed season.


    I used this product on my cat and produced so much fur, I was amazed.


    It is easy to use and helps to take out fur from my small poodle. I am a new dog owner and I don't see any shed on my couch.


    It works great, just like the FURminator brush, without the expensive price tag.


    I don't use a furrminator but I got this one because I didn't want to spend money on one.

    I have a short haired dog and don't think this is the best brush for long hair.

    Is this helpful for my long haired cat, who is starting to mat up in places?

    If the blade part can be removed/replaced, you may be able to buy one with bigger teeth to replace the fine one.

    Can it be used on a 3month old chihuahua and terrier mix? She is white and is already shed like crazy.

    A:

    I use it on my dog, as she likes it better than some brushes. I am careful to not push it too hard through her long hair, as it can easily be tangled and pulled by most brushes/combs, this one included.

    Is it good for a small dog like a chihuahua?

    A:

    I don't use the FURminator brush for small dogs because it's too thick.
