The blade leaves you with a glue edge cut, which is what I wanted when I used it to cut plywood.

If you are doing rough work, it will still work, but it will take a little longer to cut.

The blade of the Circular saw is very sharp and perfect for a fine tooth crosscut backup blade.

I needed these backs-up for my circular saw, and I'm happy that they have two different teeth counts.

If you want to do interior cabinet work, you should get the 40, but unless you are doing it with a do it all blade at 6.5".

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Will it be able to cut through metal?

    A:

I would not recommend using it as a demolition blade unless you intend to only use it for that purpose.

    Q:

Is it appropriate to cut cement board with this?

    A:

It's not a good choice for cutting cement board, and there are other alternatives. The best tile cutting wheel is a Masonary cut off wheel which has diamond impregnated into the outer area of the wheel.

    Q:

Is it rip or cross cut?

    A:

Both rip and cross cut are any kind of cutting.

    Q:

Will this blade fit on a makita bss611 corded saw?

    A:

If it's a 6 1/2inch circular saw it will fit.

    Q:

Does this blade fit a plunge saw?

    A:

I bought this blade for different saws.
