It's good because you have to change it every two months, but it's also good to have a mount that you can screw in the cameras.
Since the camera nest isn't battery operated, I used the AC power that I had access to to connect the wire through the hole I had to drill in the wall to accommodate for it.
The app is easy to use and the picture quality is topnotch. The magnetic base is a problem, but nothing that stops someone from running up and snatching it off the base and running with if.
It's easy to set up and install. Activity zone set up was easy.
It was easy to add the cameras to the app and use it to see the live stream.
Question & Answers
Does it have a mount?
It only comes with a magnetic mount, so you have to buy another item because the other mount isn't included.
Is it possible to turn off the microphone while keeping the video on?
Yes. Go to settings, then choose your device, and then disabling the microphone.
Is it necessary to purchase the arlo app and pay a subscription in order to use it to view the security videos?
The app is free but you need to pay for storage and activity zones.
The video is blurry if you have essential xl to see it 50-80 ft away. Will pro 4 improve it?
I think you can if your internet is strong enough. One of my cameras picks up cars rounding corner down the road. Another is in backyard and it picks up cars going by front driveway.
Where your company doesn't need a subscription after I have already paid you a ton of money, is it a good idea to sell a non greedy Arlo?
It's like zippo, they make their money from the data storage, and I think 29.99 a month for unlimited cameras is the best plan.
