What users have to say about Lacti-Cups Breast Shells Breastmilk Collector for Breastfeeding Lacticups Silicone Milk Catcher 2pcs
I had 8oz of milk in storage because when I pumped it would empty me so I had to give it to my baby so he wouldn't get sick.
It doesn't take much to clean, just wash the parts and dry the rubber backing so that water doesn't sit along the inside edge.
They are comfortable, easy to conceal, and have plugs that prevent spills. I was worried about putting milk in the vent but it is actually nice.
I am not one of those who produces a lot of milk but I thought I would have these on hand in case. I have saved ounces in milk.
I thought I would be able to collect the milk leaks and not let it go to waste, but I realized I should have gotten a less expensive breast shell.
Will they be able to stay on without a bra?
If you are wearing a cami or tight shirt, you need something to hold them in place.
I have a latex allergy and would like to know the material used to make these.
Lacti-Cups are made from food grade Polypropylene Type 5 which is why they are called Lacti-Cups.
How do they work with smaller size breasts?
It works the same for all sizes. I used them to save a lot of milk and keep my nips from drying against clothing.
Are they made with hard plastic or soft silicone?
Lacti-Cups have 2 separate pieces, the outer part is PolyPropylene, hard plastic and the inside is Silicone Medical Grade and Food grade safe.
Is it possible to see that you're wearing these in your shirt?
It depends on how thin your shirt is and how you want to look. If you have a padded bra, you might look a little bustier, but no more than that.
