I can pop it in the washer and dryer and be done with it. It is soft, has no bunching or pilling, and the large size makes it just shy of the head/foot of the crib.
I have been using this for my baby since the birth date, it is an excellent product, exceeded my expectations, and I poured a liter of water after delivery, it absorbed well, and gave me confidence, I kept it for the baby.
I ordered a lot of them after my daughter was diagnosed with cancer and went through chemotherapy, and they are very easy to clean.
The pad is very soft and warm, and she likes to sleep on it. It had been very absorbent, keeping both of us dry when she has an accident.
We tried the disposable bed protection sheets with sticky tape on the corners, but they were so itchy and were difficult to put back together, I ordered a couple others on Amazon and sent them back.

What kind of material is used for the pad?

The front is cotton and the back is bamboo, these are the best pads I have ever found.

Is the pad really breathable, and makes you sweat in the night?
A:
My baby runs very hot, his head seems to get a bit sweaty on ANY material we have tried, so I think this may be a bit better for him.

The description says the product isdryer friendly, but the tag on the pad says not to put it in the dryer. Which takes forever.

It is hard to line dry them, if your dryer has an air dry function, that may be a solution.

Is this pad really cooling or does it trap body heat?
A:
This pad doesn't make me hot at all, it's very soft and comfortable.

Can you tell me what the waterproof material is made of?
A:
The bottom is made of bamboo and is not plasticky, while the top is made of polyester.
