I used a combination of washers and adapters to lubricate the fittings and new bushings, and pressed them in easy after cleaning up the settings with 1000 grit wet sand paper.
I received it in the mail and within a few days it was paying for itself. I have been able to do all of the pressing I have needed to so far, from ball joints, u-joints, and even bushings.
I used it to change the universal joints in a driveshaft, and this tool with a 1/2in breaker bar made the job a snap, because it's big and tough.
This is a good tool for U-joints, Ball Joints, and it works well as a brake caliper push back tool.
The carry case had spare spaces for the Ford update kit, which was referred to in the review as the Ford Rotunda Ball joint press kit.

I used to do upper and lower ball joints on a E 250 van, but the pictures don't do the job.
I don't know how to be sure that I will get one made in the USA.
I bought mine here in September 2016 and it says 'Made in USA' on the C-Clamp, so I guess you can't be sure unless you find one you can buy local to you.
Is it made in the US?
I received a one that said it was made in the U.S. and I had a harbor freight one, but this one is 20x that one.
Will I need the supplemental ford adaptor for ball joint removal or installation in the 1995 F-150 4x4?
I'm not sure about the ford ball joints, but I needed the jeep adaptor.
How large is the throat on this?
If you want to use it for ball joint removal and installation, you have to add the adapters, which are 1.75" and 2.25" tall.
