  • What users have to say about Baker's Premium Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bar

A favorite of visitors, chocolate chip cookies can easily be filled in a box of 12 in a year. However, even though its price has gone up, it is not quite as bad as this.

Will look for less or buy locally if this continues and hope that the situation will improve in a year or two.

I make my husband some great fudge with this unbleached chocolate and butter and it's so easy to make.

The flavor of this cocoa is rich and bold, just like it used to be in regular baking.

I love frostings so I'm a big fan of this brand, even though I've tried some of the other ones, like cocoa and oil insead.

    FAQ

    Q:

What are all the references to coconut?

    A:

The chocolate does not have coconut in it, so some people are reviewing it, and others are buying it.

    Q:

What is the last date of use?

    A:

I don't know as they are long gone. I used them for a baking project last year.

    Q:

The ingredient list says chocolate, but what are the actual ingredients?

    A:

You might think of making cacoa powder, but it's a lot different than hot chocolate or candy bars, and it has 4.5g of fat.

    Q:

The item title says it is for 12 boxes, but your description says it is one box of 8 sq.

    A:

The boxes have 8 ounces of chocolate, which is more than the new ones, and so this works for me.

    Q:

How do you convert the chocolate squares in the vintage brownie recipe into a new box of brownies?

    A:

The old box had eight squares of chocolate individually wrapped in squares for a total of 8 Oz per box.
